I am aware of that....it just seems like Android users have gotten a couple updates already with performance improvements. I know it takes time for the Apple approval though.....but does the first update improve the framerate at all? Thanks for replying.

I don't think any of the updates so far on either side address performance. We are still collecting data about which models people are having trouble with. There may have been some performance gains on the Android side just because of compatibility fixes for specific devices, but those don't apply on iOS.

Ahhh ok.....unfortunately it's a bit too sluggish on my iPad 1 for me to enjoy right now, so I'll just have to wait for a future update before I buy more tables. I'm looking forward to it though!

I've read a couple places where others have had this problem too, for instance:

About War Pinball you need to reinstall the app. It's a iOS 5 bug. The same with Asphalt 6 HD btw (iPad orig. + iPad 2). Don't know if it's an iOS or...

Also, in your App Store reviews, one of the reviews from December 1st mentions unresponsive flippers too....

Hmm. If it were a problem with the software, wouldn't it be occurring on everyone's device, since everyone is running the same code? The only causes that I can think of that fit the situations are: faulty hardware, programs running in the background that prevent timely I/O, or modified system software that is having the same effect.

We don't have any flipper lag our devices that I know of, and we can't fix an issue until we can reproduce it. I don't have an iPad at my place, so I claim to know exactly how well it runs, but it does run quite smoothly and responsively on my iPod, with only slight hitches every now and then.

Frame rate and input lag are two different things, by the way, so we need to be clear which one we are talking about.

In that last post, I was talking about the input lag since that's the issue that Dreadykrugah brought up......but when it comes to video games in general, poor framerate can often result in input lag, so the two could be related....I'm guessing if the framerate is improved the input lag issues will resolve as well...

Personally I've only experienced framerate issues, which seems to be a common problem...

As far as the rest, You guys are the experts....I'm just trying to help by pointing you to reports of these issues happening.

So is your hard work! Sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining sometimes.....I'm just a pinball nut who loves your tables on 360, and can't wait till they play smoothly on my iPad 1 too.....but I'm willing to be patient because I'm thrilled that you guys have brought your great tables to all these mobile devices, and I know you guys know what you're doing, so keep up the good work

Thanks for the reply Zen and you too Jeffy. I am running an iphone 4 first generation, latest firmware, not jailbroken. I have tried playing straight after a reboot without any other apps in the background but no improvements. I really love your tables so i'm hoping this will be fixed. I have 0 issues with other apps/games so i doubt i have faulty hardware.

After further testing i'm convinced the input lag is directly linked with the low framerate issues. There have been numerous reports of framerate problems so this is something you should be able to reproduce and hopefully fix.

Double click on the home button and delete any programs running in the background, that might help.

This makes no difference in my case. Like i've stated before, a fresh boot doesn't help either.

Could you give an update on this issue, since it's not yet fixed and it's extremely annoying.

                            Thanks!

It's a known bug. Just click on "buy" again. It will detect that you already bought it and give you the option to redownload it.
