  • Pause not consistent?

The pause behavior is not consistent. When I pause a game - either by clicking on the pause button, or switching to another app, or closing the screen, or clicking the home button - I don't always get the 3-2-1 countdown clock. Could you guys look into it?

Initially, I thought this was an issue with the way I was pausing - hitting the home button - but I've tried all the other ways and there's no consistency.

Also, I would strongly recommend that when the pause button is tapped, the app should not recognize any taps for a short period of time. Why? Because when you're holding the ball with one of the flippers, then hit the pause button, the button that was holding the flipper will hit whatever button shows up in the pause screen. If you're holding the right flipper, it's very likely you will tap the home button within the app completely abandoning the current game.

There is only a 3-2-1 countdown if the ball is in play. If the ball is in the launcher or locked or at the start of a mission, then there is no countdown. I honestly have had no issue with this and I've been playing it everyday since it came out, and I pause a lot to reach for my smokes!

My advice would be......don't pause unless your ball is in the launcher or at the start of a mission. You won't have any problems trust me.

No, he's right. It IS inconsistent. It can be on the flipper or inlane and you get no countdown. Whenever I unpause I make sure I've got both flippers pressed, because I usually pause in a flipper catch

Apologies, I have not experienced this yet. But then I only pause at the start of missions or when the ball is in the launcher.
