Excalibur skillshot is annoying

The only way to tell which lane you need to target is by using free look feature (holding down the camera icon). This is annoying because you use the wonky accelerometers of the ipad to pan around and also free looking seems to "pause" the table so sometimes trying to determine which letter is lit is a pain in the ass because the letters are blinking on and off and if you free look at the wrong time, none of the letters will be lit. I just use a random plunger shot because it is too cumbersome to figure out which lane i should aim for.

You can change the skill shot by pressing the flipper buttons, so just launch the ball to one of the roll overs and adjust the skill shot light accordingly.

My problem is not hitting a particular lane. It is determining which letter is actually lit without "free looking." None of the other tables require using free look to aim your skillshot.

Yeah I had to play with camera, the one that follows the ball in the top of the play field works well
