  • World War Hulk and Tesla Now Available!

    Hey everyone,

World War Hulk and Tesla are now available on iOS and Mac!

    Happy Friday!

Be sure to keep an eye on our blog, we'll be announcing our next table tomorrow!

New tables are great. Keep them coming.

A few concerns. I have voiced them before but i will do it again because it has been awhile.

    1) The retina-display ipad 3 STILL needs an update for the dmd and buttons which are tiny.
    2) Nudging mechanic still sucks on the ipad. I have never been a fan of zen's take on "infinite" nudging but have come to realize that is very important because the table designers seem to love timed missions. That being said, the ipad nudging mechanic sucks because you sometimes trigger "double" nudges which causes a tilt or you fail to trigger a nudge at all. Left and right nudging is awkward. I still think either a virtual stick or designated swiping zone for nudging is needed. The motion controls are inaccurate and awkward.
    3) The mac version desperately needs leaderboards.

Barbie, will the new table be available for iOS and Mac?

      Agreed.

The DMD is very small. This has been the case for quite a while now and still no update.
Also why have a tiny annoying name input screen when you can use the standard ios keyboard, its a lot quicker.
Also some tables have a button somewhere on the playfield...

So bumping out new tables is one thing, fixing current issues is another.
On Xbox you can have the excuse that MS is holding up the updates/costing a lot of money.
On iOS you are free to make updates anytime.

Zen/PBFX2 is still my favorite pinball game but come on, support your own stuff.

Marvel Civil War? YES! Check out the blog post for the full list of platforms, this is our widest yet.

We are a small team, so not everything can take priority at all times. We support a lot of different platforms. That being said, we are focusing more on Mac, iOS, and Android now that Zen Pinball 2 is finished. The best I can do for you right now is to keep sending your suggestions and requests to the team. We'll get there, it just takes time.

Thanks for replying. I do understand but you should also understand from a customer perspective.

            My full ipad wishlist:
            - DMD needs xl setting for retina, and maybe movable like xbox.
            - Name input should be normal ipad style keypad and not the annoying left right arrow thing, which is also small on ipad3.
            - Action buttons should be flippers and not a button somewhere on the playfield.
            - Camera views should be the same for all tables, 1w on sorcerers lair is about the same as 3 on Tesla.
            - Needs better camera view when in portriat mode, more zoomed in then 3 on Tesla (loosing the top and sides), but stil static.
            - The sensor nudge could be improved, sometimes I get an instant tilt.

            This would make it perfect.
Gameplay wise Pbfx/Zen has no competition imho, but could still be improved.

              Some bugs.

Tesla: The center sinkhole usually ejects the ball directly towards the center drain requiring a slap save.
Hulk: You have to use the free look camera feature to determine which target is lit for the skillshot.
Sorcerer's Lair: I have never completed the bones mission. Has anyone else? I have nailed right orbit shots one after another and still have yet to beat that mission.

                RE: Tesla.
                Yeah, it's extremely frustrating.

I made a quick mock-up with bigger DMD and more zoom (there is a lot of waisted space imho).
Making the DMD movable would be a plus.

Maybe renaming the views to S1,S2,S3 and D1,D2,D3 etc. for Static and Dynamic views.
Now there is not really a logic just 1,2,3,4 etc.

Just thought I'd register to say thanks for releasing Tesla, fantastic stuff and finally clawing up that leader board.

Gotta agree on the tilt, display and launch button actions with retina but know it takes time, especially with small teams.

Would disagree about the bucket dropping the ball though, the table gives you constant access to the ball save through the dynamo, I'd recommend always having that lit before going new the centre - if there's any real need to at all...
