  • ZEN cross platform buy twice

Why if I already paid for several Pinball games either for PS3 and/or iOS I can't download them on the respectively other platform... Say If I buy Wolverine on my iPad, why do I have to pay for it AGAIN to play it on my PS3?... It seems a little unfair to me.

Because Apple, Sony, Microsoft, Google and Nintendo want their money. Every time you buy a game, the said company gets a piece of the transaction.

If you buy a table for the iOS, then Sony isn't getting anything if Zen gave you the PS3 version for free. It's the same vis-versa.

Think I see your point... It's like trying to play Call of Duty for PS3 on my XBOX360; however I don't see like iOS software competing direclty into Videogaming industry, for me they can live in the same neightborhood and play in the same ballpark.
At least Zen Studios can give a little discount once you have their software on either platform to have all tables on both systems.
      ...only one man's opinion.

      Thanks for replying!

iOS and Android are actually a growing part of the gaming industry. Though you may not see them as a gaming console necessarily, they have definitely become part of gaming. It's pretty crazy to think how much that side of the industry has grown in the last couple of years

What you ask is technically impossible. Even if they wanted, how could Zen Studio check & verify the XBOX LIVE or PLAYSTATION NETWORK accounts of hundred thousands of users when purchasing tables on iPhone or Android devices and generate a discount accordingly?

Same...How can SONY or MICROSOFT possibly check your iPad or iPhone in-app purchases?

Not to mention, how would Zen make any money and stay in business? The tables are dirt cheap as they are and this is pretty high quality game. It's not like you are spending $10 a table. I wouldn't be surprised if Zen relies heavily on double dippers (those that buy multiple versions of the game) to stay in business.
