Impossible to launch the ball

Hello,
I have acquired Zen Pinball 2 for Mac and I am using it on a MacBook Air 13".
The problem I have is the following :
I understood pressing the Return key is the way to launch the ball in the game, but it does not work !
It makes the appropriate noise, but barely moves the ball. I tried tenths of times, no way.
When pressing the key which shakes the board the ball moves, and once it moved enough to start the game, but I could not reproduce it.
So it's unusable. I checked the command panel, but could not find any setting which could solve the problem.
Can you help ?

Found the answer

I found the answer by chance, a few minutes after posting, sorry !
Pressing the Return key and maintaining it a few seconds before releasing it gives the required strength.
