  • Zen Pinball crashes on iPad 1 (iOS 5.1.1)

I have deleted the app and redownload and install it. The Zen Pinball app crashes when I try to open any of the Marvel tables. This app didnt crash before, and I suspect it's due to iOS Version 5.1.1 on my iPad 1. The tables and app did not crash before. Per your experience should I have to rest the factory settings of the iPad to attempt to fix this issue, any possible way to downgrade to 5.0 or 5.1.0? I think I have noticed this issue within other apps and the app store as well.

I had the same issues with my iPad 1 (I have a 3 now). Well my crashes usually occurred while playing a game though, not when starting up a game. You shouldn't have to do a factory reset. Make sure when you play ZP all other apps are closed. You can either manually close the apps and/or reboot your iPad by holding down the power and home button until you see the apple logo. Also, disable all notifications. Notifications often caused my game to crash.

We're really pushing the limits of the iPad 1 in terms of processing and available memory, so the advice above about closing everything else is good.

If that is the case, then perhaps turning off the Arcade Effects in the game may help.
