  • iOS Game Center support for Return of the Jedi table

I can't find my scores for the Return of the Jedi table on the iOS Game Center. Does anyone know why?

I also notice the Darth Vader table is not supported, nor the Startfighter Assault table.

Originally they didn't make it in to GC because there was a limit - Apple has since raised that limit so we may be adding them eventually.

      Ok thanks.

I hope it's sooner rather than later. Not having GC support on one of your showcase tables is pretty lame...

I believe the in-game global scoreboards are working now. It is just GC leaderboards that are absent for the newer tables that were released after Shaman.

It's just the new Star Wars tables that are missing the GC leaderboards. The leaderboards are up on GC for the Doctor Strange table which was the most recent release.

Newbie Busting in Confused but Not Lost

Every time I browsed for how to access Zen Pinball 2 from IOS Maverick's 'Game Center', I was linked to this post again and again. When I look on my Game Center App, I only see about 27 options and none of them are Zen Pinball 2 tables.

However, I keep stumbling across posts such as this one that seem to imply that IOS Maverick Game Center should be compatible. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I feel like I'm trying to hit a pinata blindfolded.

Thanks for your time here, I'm new and confused. I'm also very excited by the idea of being able to play my favorite game in a larger community.

Welcome! Sorry about that - the Mac version doesn't have Game Center support unfortunately. And my bad on the forum title with both Mac & iOS together, the Mac & iOS versions of the game aren't connected/compatible. Sorry for any confusion!

Hey Barbie. I'm guessing the Mac platform is a very poor seller because it still lacks some significant features like leaderboards, gamepad support and a more robust key mapping scheme. The biggest issue really is the lack of leaderboards, at least for me. I don't believe any other platform lacks leaderboards and the Mac version is long overdue. I bought a few tables for the Mac but held out until more features became available. Then I went from holding out to completing abandoning the platform once it became clear that the Steam version was receiving significantly more support. Dual booting into windows so I can play some pinball kind of sucks but I would rather deal with that than deal with the terrible Mac port. I don't mean to bash on Zen, but I think it has been over a year since the Mac version was ninja'd onto the Mac App store (in which the first announcement of it's release was given by a forum poster) as a "soft" launch and none of the promised features have been implemented. I understand that when the Mac version was released, that game center did not yet exist on the Mac. But since then Mountain Lion and Mavericks have been released and have both included Game Center. I doubt I will return to the Mac platform, but on behalf of those still holding out hope, can you please tell the devs that it's about time they give the Mac version a little more love. Thanks.
