1000 Achievement Point Cap

As far as I am aware there is a cap of 1000 points maximum that any application can award for achievements. That being said Zen Pinball users can now get 980 total achievement points for beating all the achievements. I noticed that starting with the newest Star Wars pack and all the subsequent tables that have come out there have only been 2 achievements worth 5 a piece (10 total for the table). At this rate after Walking Dead Comes out there will only be room for 1 more table with achievements. I was wondering what you guys were planning in terms of achievements after that 1000 point threshold is reached. I like having the achievements in the game because it gives something to work for other than just a high score. It would be disappointing if all of the new tables after whatever follows the Walking Dead have no more achievements to unlock.

They will probably just have to release a second Zen Pinball app. I wouldn't mind that it is getting a bit crowded.

The other option would be to continue having achievements, but not tying them to Game Center. Achievements on Game Center are a really big deal to me across iOS, but I'm so terrible at pinball that I don't really mind if they stop. To date, I have only earned 80 of 980 points available.

Yeah i really do not know what the best solution would be. I would want to keep it as one app so I can add onto my pro score, but I also want achievements. I currently have 54 of the 96 achievements for 460 points. Personally, the only thing that I can see as at least as a temporary solution would be to reduce the achievement values for Sorcerer's Lair, Captain America Wolverine and Thor to 5, 10 & 15 points like all of the older tables older tables. This could free up 80 points. I do not know if this is a possibility, but I would be willing to sacrifice some achievement points that I have earned on these tables to make room for another 8 new tables with achievements (2 achievements 5 pts. each x 8 tables = 80 points).

Has any thought been given to what will be done to address the impending 1000 point IOS Game Center achievement cap. I would really like to have a few achievements for the upcoming South Park pinball tables, but as things stand, Zen Pinball is only 10 points below the cap, which only leaves room for 2 5 point achievements. It would be disappointing if that is all that South Park gets.

Barbie, any chance there is word on this? We've hit the 1000 point cap now, with only one achievement on both South Park tables. I would love to have all three available for all tables, even if that means either reducing all achievements to 5 points or making them not tied to Game Center. Thanks!

I'm not sure what the plan is for achievements but I'll send this thread to the team again

I look forward to seeing how this is resolved. I also hope that there is a way to get more achievements for the South Park tables. I personally would not mind seeing seeing all the achievements go down to 5 points a piece if it meant more achievements in the future, and potentially also adding a third achievement to all of the tables that only have 1 or 2 (i.e. the last few star wars, deadpool, guardians of the galaxy, walking dead, South Park).

Thanks for the reply! If we did have 3 per table at 5 points a piece, we wouldn't have to worry about the achievements again for another 29 tables! And I will definitely buy another 29 tables if you release them!
