Today I purchased the new Walking Dead table for Mac - everything fine - nice game BUT, the next time I relaunched Zen Pinball I got the following message: "Zen Pinball 2.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Zen Pinball 2.app” and download it again from the App Store." I deleted it from my system, downloaded a new version from the App Store and all was fine until I quit the game and tried to relaunch - same message popped up. Any advice?

Thank you but that didn't work.
I deleted the app and the entire "com.zenstudios.ZenPinball2" folder then reinstalled the app. I also had to restore all 16 tables I've purchased. The application opened with no problem, I could play any game but when quitting and restarting I got the same "damaged" error message.
Thinking the problem may be connected to the Walking Dead installation (since that's when it started), I deleted everything again, downloaded the app, opened it without restoring any purchased games, played the default game, quit the app and got the same restart error.
I'm on a very clean (Only Apple and Adobe software) MacBook Pro, no other problems, running OS X (10.9.4).
Thanks for any help.

Still not working for me.
One thing I noticed after multiple downloads and attempts to get this to work: If I click "Cancel" when the program prompts me to sign into the App Store, I am able to quit and restart without a problem. If I enter my password and sign into the app store, the game works but becomes damaged will not restart after quitting.Comment

Try uninstalling/reinstalling but instead of using the shopping cart icon to restore purchases, click them individually to install each table again. Let me know if that still doesn't work. I've had several reports of this happening, so I will be letting the team know.Comment

The whole game is no longer available? What happens when you click each individual icon? Do you get an error message?Comment

It's not in the app store
Sorry, I don't mean the tables are no longer available. I mean, the app is no longer available in the app store. I've searched for it by its name, by "Zen", and by "pinball." The game is no longer available on the app store.
Is it being updated? Will it become available again, soon?
Thanks!Last edited by RixWrath; 09-04-2014, 07:32 PM.Comment

It's there now... then it's not
I don't know what the problem is. Sometimes I see it there, sometimes I don't.
I found it again. I've downloaded the game. I restored my purchases. I played once. When I tried to start it again, I got another "corrupt data" message.
Does anyone know if there's a customer service department I could contact?
I have a thought. The app didn't crash when I only had 2 tables. It started to get these "corrupt data" issues after the game update with the new table, and after I installed 2 more tables. Is this a problem with the new update? Or, is this a problem for people who have more than two tables?
Thanks.Comment

Try deleting the game entirely, including all related files (these should be at Macintosh HD / users / current_user / Library / Containers / com.zenstudios.ZenPinball2 ) and then reinstall from the App Store.
If you would like to save your profile/scores, this file should be saved before you uninstall the game, and then copied over the fresh installation to restore your scores and profile info:
Macintosh HD / users / current_user / Library / Containers /
com.zenstudios.ZenPinball2 / Data / Library / Application Support /
ZenPinball2 / profile.dat
Once the game is reinstalled, try downloading individually rather than clicking restore - that should do the trick, if not, let me know.Comment

The solution that worked on my Mac
I've seen you post that before, and have tried that.
On a mac, we can't download tables individually. We need to "buy" them. When I tried that, I encountered an error in the app that didn't allow me to. The only option is to restore purchases.
However, I think I've found the answer for Mac users.
After the game crashes and posts the "corrupt data" error message, do this:
1. Don't delete the game!!! If you do, you'll only download the problem again. There's an update, it's just hard to find.
2. Go to the app store and search for the app
3. When you find the app, you will see the option "update" where the "purchase" or "install" option should be
4. Click on it... it will download
5. The app will be fixed
Seems to be working now.Comment
