Empire Strikes back ball launcher question

Hello, on my mac Empire Strikes Back, when you hold the launch button the launch meter fills and then begins to deplete. On my PS3 version of the game, you can hold the launch button down and keep the meter at full power until you launch. Am I doing something wrong on the mac version, or is the PS3 version different in this way?

That is the normal behavior. The mac keyboard does not have analog buttons. This behavior allows you to perform skill shots though it is not as accurate as an analog stick.
