X-Men table issue...question

Hi, I recently downloaded the X-Men table for my Mac, and I've noticed that the ball has a kind of herky-jerky motion to it, like sometimes it'll get to the top of an arc and have a very slight but noticeable pause, or it'll be heading toward a flipper and there'll be the same delay. At first I thought it might be part of the table, like maybe Magneto is using his magnetic powers to interfere with the physics of the ball, but now I'm thinking it might be a bug or other such issue.

This is the only table I'm having an issue with, out of about a dozen or so tables. Any suggestions?

herky jerky motion

That's kind of weird because I have the same herky jerky motion happening on my Sorcerer's Lair, Han Solo and South Park tables. I was looking for a thread for my problem and found this. What's going on?

I have a feeling the herky-jerky motion isn't the Magneto effect in this case. Often in a few older Marvel-themed games, the ball seems to have that same stutter effect, not just in X-Men. I've experienced it, too, and initially figured it was a game effect, but it does in non-Magneto-related ball situations. The effect also occurs in the Tesla game.
