iOS zen update 2/26/15

New update adding iron and steel pack - nice.

Update description forgot to mention the total redesign of the menu system

The new menu interface grouped by category - zen, marvel, star wars, South Park, walking dead, the soccer one... Not sure why sorcerers lair is all by its lonesome...

Leader boards are better - really like my score displayed on top so I can see what place I am in - however it may be covering up the #1 spot - sure those people don't have egos and don't mind!

Since it's the free table, we don't want people to have to go searching for it.

Best thing about the new interface is the bigger launch button. Makes tables like Thor and World War Hulk much better.

my update opinion:

it personally is gonna take some getting used to for me, the menu text is smaller, which makes it harder to read the table guides (bought 7 new tables today!), but I think the redesign is to keep all the tables in one place(via the catalog system)
Iron & Steel are both very fun, though the "Kick" shot on WWR is a bitch,and the ball loves the outlanes
nudge system is...still the same...(desperately waiting on improvement)
being able to see your achievements is nice, and overall the menu redesign looks really sexy...keep up the good work zen

earlier IOS compatability

Hi, the phone I use for Zen is jacked with all sorts and not enough space to upgrade from 6.1.3 that it currently runs.

Will you make the latest tables available for those of us lacking further space to upgrade?

Agreed. When the ball hits the bumpers just above the flippers, they shoot it back and forth a few times then straight into one of the outlanes. I can only play it a few times before I want to launch my ipad against the wall LOL. The menu update is great, ZP is still the best app I've ever spent money on!

Too many clicks to get to the gameplay

1. Click on stack "marvel" brings up description of marvel
2. Click marvel again takes you to table selection screen with redundant marvel description
3. Click on table brings up table description
4. Click on table launches table play option "single player"
5. Click play option
6. Click launch.

From a UI/UX perspective this could definitely be simplified - the very least remove the first click that brings up the group description - it is pointless as it is the first thing you see when you get into the group table selection. I think all descriptions could be moved to the in game options screen - I don't need to be "sold" on the table I am about to choose, and once you read it you don't need to have see every time you play. IMHO

Yes for Plants vs Zombies Pinball. I would like to see a Marvel vs Capcom Pinball also!
