I can't launch the ball to get started with this game. When I hold down the return key the app toggles rapidly between pause and play. I'm on OS 10.9 Mavericks. Please help.

Did it work before or is this the first time you've tried playing? Try going into the options menu and remap the launch to a different key - let me know if that still doesn't work.
