  • Zen Pinball 2 tables cannot be restored

    I'm trying to restore my tables on my iMac where I have bought the tables on, but the first message I get is something about a wrong country in the store and if I try it again I get a message in Zen Pinball 2 'Unable to restore your tables this time. Try again later.'.
    How can I fix this?

    Can you please tell me the exact wording of the country error message?

      No, I can't. I only got this message once. In the system-log I cannot find the message either.

      Only 2 types of messages are visible in the log;
      - Zen Pinball 2: Failed to connect (window) outlet from (yapAp***legate) to (NSWindow): missing setter or instance variable
      - Sandbox: stroreaccountd(...) deny(1) file-write-create [..]/Caches/com.zenstudios.ZenPinball2

        Dang. Try logging out of iTunes, restart, log back in and see if they will restore with the shopping cart icon or by clicking the table icons individually.

          Doesn't work

          If I use the shopping cart I get the message 'Unable to restore...'.
          When I click on the individual table I get the purchase window telling me I have to pay 2,99 euros.

          Same message in the logs btw.

          The folder [..]/Caches/com.zenstudios.ZenPinball2 doesn't exists, neither does a file with this name.

            Try again later on, and if you still get the same errors, PM me the email attached to the iTunes account you're using and I'll have the team investigate the issue. Also include what Mac model and OS version you're running.

              Found the problem. The restore table function doesn't support family sharing.

              Maybe the team can look into 2 things on a Mac;
              1. Support family sharing using the restore table function
              2. Also connect/use game center on a Mac. Only the iOS version of the game supports it, and that is a real pity!

                Unfortunately this isn't something we can change, Apple doesn't allow in-app purchases to be shared: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203046

                  Isn't it possible to let the tables be 'downloads' in the appstore and not a in-app purchase? Like a patch or something?
