App non-functional after installing Women of Power

On both my iPhone 7 Plus and my iPad Air, I have purchased and insatlled the Women of Power tables. Unfortunately, when I try to launch the game now, after the splash screens, I am greeted with an all-black screen with music running in the background. This music continues indefinitely, but I never see the list of tables or anything else.

Once, when installing on the iPad, I was briefly able to see that the new tables had been downloaded. I tapped the Champions table and saw the options to start playing, but when I went back and chose the A-Force table, the screen simply went blank. It has continued to be blank.

On both devices, I have even deleted the app, re-downloaded it, and restored the content. This problematic behavior continues.

Seems like a serious bug, since it makes the entire game unplayable. Please help!

first off thanks for the heads up. I am on iPad Air too.

Second, since you have already bought the new tables and Zen has not yet answered my post about this, can you please clarify for me what you paid and what you got for it? If you came that far?
There are two new entries in the Marvel Section. Each of them costing 4.99

If I buy once, does it unlock both those entries?
Or do I have to pay twice?

Hey there! Yes, $4.99 does seem a little expensive ... but I can't resist Marvel's cool female characters.

Anyway paying it did indeed unlock both tables. Both of them seem to install successfully, but the A-Force table, at least, seems bugged. At this point, after reinstalling, I managed to get the Champions table to play once, but as soon as I try to launch the A-Force table, the game becomes entirely unplayable without a complete re-install.

Anyway, the key answer to your question is: Yes, your $5 will get you both new tables.

I am relieved that the 5 bucks unlock both tables. Even though it still pricey compared to the other ones.

I am just not sure, if I should buy them right away and risk the same problems you have, or rather wait for an update. Hmmm ...

1. I install the app itself. When I launch it, it runs fine, and the default Avengers table is playable.
2. I restore my purchases. The app immediately downloads both the A-Force and Champions tables (purchased today as part of the Women of Power package).
3. I am returned to the home screen, now showing both newly purchased tables. If I select the Champions table, I am offered the menu for that table and I can play it just fine. If I select the Avengers table, I am offered the menu for that table, and I can play it just fine. If I select the A-Force table, though ... I hear a voice say "Marvel's Women of Power—A-Force," but I am not offered the menu for that table. Although music continues to play, the app is otherwise completely non-responsive. None of the buttons work.
4. If I exit the app (by pushing the home button) and then launch it again (by tapping its icon), I am greeted with a black screen. Music plays. After a few seconds, the app crashes to the desktop.
5. If I try to launch the app after the crash, I see the branded splash screens (Marvel, Zen Studios, and Marvel Pinball), but then am greeted with a black screen. Music plays, and the app remains black with music playing indefinitely. (I haven't let it sit for more than five minutes, but it stays in this state at least that long.)

The A-Force table is seriously bugged. I've gotten the Champions table to work fine. The A-Force table needs some work though

This was fixed last week while I was out of office, but in case anyone has trouble, here are the steps to resolve the issue:

1.) If you've already downloaded the WoP tables and Marvel Pinball does not start, please reinstall the app again. (Just tap the shopping cart icon to restore your purchased tables once the app is installed.)

2.) If you downloaded the WoP tables and Marvel Pinball starts, you should see a table update in the A-force table's menu. Just update the table and you should be good to go.
