keyboard Enter key stops working as Launch button

I have several of the Pinball2 games but all of them have the same problem on my iMac. During play the enter key stops working as the Launch key and the keyboard won't work with the computer either. I have to restart the iMac. I've tried a couple keyboards and have the same problem. I love the games but they don't work well.
