Issues in Bob’s Burgers table in version 1.44

The Bob’s Burgers table is weird since version 1.44 of the app on my ipad mini 2. There are two issues. First, the transperant area of the flippers and ball images are visible as a lightened area of the background. This is not visible in other tables or previously. Second, I now seem to be getting missed flips which may correlate to pressing slightly closer to the screen edge when in landscape mode. Is anyone else seeing these issues?

I'm definitely seeing the transparency issues around the ball and flippers. Just bought the table, and I noticed it right away.
