This would be the main gist of my concern(s) as well. I'm also a PC Classic Williams/Bally player and have zero interest in the arcade style functions (like power ups, etc.... ), nor do I have any...
The MM flipper bug appears to have been resolved.
I'm running a mid/high end card on mine so I can't really comment on FPS with DMD enabled on lower end hardware. All tables run above 110 FPS @ 1440P which is good, but I seem to recall them running...
I'm not seeing that issue any more. The sound isn't perfect, but it's no longer glaringly loud.
I did do a full fresh install over the last few days so that might have affected it.
And yeah.......
This appears to have been resolved for PC in the latest steam update. (Bumper sound for MM as well, but they swapped it out for a crazy flipper bug.... :) )
I don't think it comes with a default backglass. I had to find one the same way I found the others.
So.....
Had a steam update today and the bumper sound appears to have been resolved, and FPS looks decent, but they've introduced a whole new bug on the physics of the flippers.
Basically,...
I looked earlier this year and there really isn't anything out there available commercially that's even close to what you're looking for. I ended up first printing up a controller on my 3D printer,...
That's not very promising news when it comes to seeing this resolved at all let alone in a timely fashion.
I sent a dxdiag off to the address you listed, but mainly for the sound bug as opposed to the DMD one. I'm still getting 150 FPS on the new tables @ QHD res so you'd be better off looking at folks...
I get the feeling that these forums aren't on the Devs' radar so you'd be better off checking some of the other areas they inhabit.
I don't do social media (no FB, or Twitter) but it was pretty...
According to the Dev's bug/patch thread over on the steam discussion forums the performance issues are related to the DMD and disabling it apparently resolves the issue.
That's obviously not an...
I can confirm this issue on slightly different hardware.
Intel 8700K + Nvidia 1070ti + 16GB memory so it's not a current top of the line rig, but it's no slouch. :)
FPS on QHD res (2560 x...
I was able to confirm the bumper audio "bug" (it's ridiculously loud), and will comment on the other bug in the dedicated thread.
I haven't had a chance to dig into it, but I noticed this as well. Listed FPS on a QHD monitor w/ a 1070ti dropped from being maxed out at 240 down to under 100. Only had a quick look while playing a...
Which list to go off of though? Yes it's not included on the "we know these titles work", but it's also not on the "these 10 titles will not work" list.
If it's the same as the steam version it's trying to load the community high scores and set up multiplayer options.
I play that one fairly regularly. I suppose I'll have to take the time to look through the table guides sometime in the near future in order to see what I'm missing. Hopefully having "launch" and...
Cool.
I use my setup as a "peripheral" to my main PC (as opposed to a stand-alone unit) so the PC controls are either not required, or covered by the wireless keyboard/trackpad I keep on top of...
I think I've only got 1 "spare" button out of the lot. So far I've got:
L/R Flipper and nudge
A / B / X / Y for Enter+Launch/Back/select/table view
and then "Start" for exiting/pausing mid game...
Thanks. It was a fun build, and gave me a chance to put my 3D printer to work as well.

Because the cabinet controller was so much wider than a standard controller I had to splice the wires that came with the (amazon ordered) arcade button kit....
And of course, not being the kind of guy who's ever really satisfied with Version 1 of anything the next obvious step was to create a standing controller cabinet....

Next addition was a keyboard tray since the stand was too deep to allow for a keyboard to rest on the desk and I was getting tired of swapping the keyboard and controller on the tray....

This was the first "proof of concept" that cabinet mode would look decent enough on a portrait mode monitor
