Yes, this function would be very welcome. Unless I missed something big Pinball FX3 doesn't support an secondary sound device.

Thank you for this test report. Sadly so far I haven't found an suitable candidate either, I would rate my current old 17" Dell TFT as meh when it comes to brightness.
At least it has DVI so the...
Thank you!
+1 for that particular feature. Vogliadicane is right, having mechanical sound on an different sound device is awesome.
If you don't need a plunger, go for an ipac-2. It's the oldest controller I'm using in my cabinet, fully programmable, and runs without any issues.
If you want nudging you can slaughter an x-box...
Awesome.
@Zen I very much recommend taking DDH's offer. DOF is the established framework for running force feedback, shakers, fans, flashers bells and whistles on a cab and works with a broad...
Thanks!
I fully agree. I'm even using them at the moment, they all work great for that purpose, Butters maybe looks a bit bland.
Sadly the Pinball FX2-Backgrounds are only available up to Castle...
Make that an optional speakergrill overlay at the bottom please. 2-screen cabs do look good with an speaker grill overlay, everything 3-screen or 2-screen + DMD already has an real speaker grill and...
Awesome. Just tested it - works great on my cab. Backglass support runs much smoother now.
Thank you!
Looking forward to Wild West Rampage. Good choice for a theme.
Funny, Ozon's link used to work. It's here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/226980/discussions/0/540744935484535034/
Good list. For 1, 2 and 7 I have working solutions but something build-in would be preferable.
4, 5 and 6 would be very welcome.
Especially 5 - having the mechanical sounds coming from the cabinet...
No, let me rephrase that. Your script works without issues and it was very easy to get it to run.
I mean, I experimented with Autohotkey and WinSet Style myself to remove the DMD border a few...
Thank you for that script. I tried my luck with AHK but couldn't get it to run.
Keep in mind that the DMD window isn't active unless a table has been started so you won't have BG support while selecting a table like there is in your solution now.
Also, steam does pass command...
I think this indicates that you can use the plunger key to make something happen.
It seems like autohotkey can do the job by changing the window style. I tried for a hour or two but so far I didn't get it to work.
Yes. I'm using Markmon's backglass changer over here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=24545.
The backglass I was using there was either from that threat or from google images or from...
Thanks, guys. This works nicely.

Note: If you have to create the config file manually, the extension must be cfg. The filename is dotmatrix.cfg
Shakenbake posted instructions on VPF!

I can't figure out the DMD positioning either. Do you have an sample config file?
And thank you very much for adding the feature! :)
Hell, yours too?
And it's not only the whining. The ranting is worse. A lot worse.
I'm starting to believe my cab is training toward some best mother-in-law from hell contest. So yeah, guess who...
That is real football my friend.
Tsk, Americans :)
Go with the Steam version so you have the option to run VP, FP and later maybe Pro Pinball and Unit3D alongside to FX2.
For a controller I'd recommend to hack a keyboard or buy a i-Pac 2.
The...
Command line parameters would be pretty useful.
I notice that starting "Pinball FX2.exe" doesn't crash the application anymore on my system. Thanks for the fix :)
