So I changed my config slightly.
I no longer use JoyToKey and instead use Steam's Big Box Mode. This mode has some excellent controller configuration settings. Steam recognises my cabinet as a...
Welcome Linne :)
Well done :)
See the thread below:

I created most of my backglasses from the collection offered by...
Please do - I would be honoured! :)
I do want to get some graphics printed for the sides and in the future I might fit a plunger with a motion sensor for nudge - but at the moment I am extremely happy with it - here it is in action...
Finally I covered the entire cabinet in the black self adhesive film as I found this gave a better finish than painting with this wood:

1487

Then I fitted a coin door so I could get access to the cabinet:

For the glass I decided to use perspex / Plexiglas as this is easier to work with. I got a 5mm sheet for the main playfield and 3mm sheet for the backbox. I drilled holes for the speakers and fitted...
The backbox was next to hold the backglass and DMD monitor and speakers. This was a simple job of making a box to sit on top of the main cabinet.

I attached the backbox to the main...
Onto the legs. I wanted proper Pinball legs - so invested in 4 Stern 30.5" Legs along with the cabinet protectors.
To fit these you have to drill holes in the corners of your cabinet - and how to...
At this point I'd also like to highlight that I do not have a full workshop - the entire build was done with the following tools:
- Mac Allister MSCS1200 1200W 165mm Electric Circular Saw
- Mac...
I'd like to start by stating I am an absolute novice at this. I have no wood working skills what so ever and struggle putting up a shelf!
I built this cabinet from the wood I had from removing a...
I have finished my pinball cabinet build. Building this has been extremely enjoyable and the end result is amazing fun to play.
Here is the finished cabinet - I will detail the build below:

So below are suggested improvements which I think would really help cabinet owners:
- Have a default view for ALL tables.
- Entering scores - I would like to turn off the feature where it...
Many thanks :)
I have tried to post a number of times in the Cabinet Building section but my posts never get accepted by the moderators.
Is there something I am doing wrong?
I have just finished building my...
I have just finished building my pinball cabinet for Pinball FX3 and for the most part it works really well. I am extremely happy with it.
I will be creating a thread with the cabinet build soon...
I've tried switching views and that does not work for me. The only way I can release the ball is to nudge as the ball is triggered out of the hole.
Surely this cannot be 'by design'?
For those interested here is a video with head tracking - it looks cool :)

As stefb said - Pinball FX3 has the option to change views (default C) - set to view 1, 1w or 2 - I prefer 2 on my cabinet.
As far as head tracking - I've seen the same but I'm pretty sure Pinball...
I have only just got this table and this happens consistently. I have to quit the vast majority of games I play making this table unplayable.

This is my video - it is a video of my cabinet playing this table in Pinball FX3 - I have never played the real table!!
