Actually, the currency always carried over until the motherboard mother ship invasion event. That was the first time that the currency actually reset. I lost over a million (and you can imagine how helpful support has been on that)

Mine never did before the Mothership Invasion thing.

I was able to keep my currency from the first event to the second, I think because I wasn't able to complete it. Now that I complete the events I can't carry over.
