Again you've done something incredible ! It's impossible to write sensations, we must live them to believe it.
I have some suggestions / information to bring to you:
- The nudge is not always reactive (with XBox controller). This may be a bug, or my config. It often happens that the table moves only when the analog stick goes down (not when it goes up), which means that many balls are lost with passes.
- When we've found a view that corresponds to us, is it possible to save it? Because manipulation (getting up, pressing X, sitting back) is quite laborious to do each time.
- Is it possible to add a clock in the room? Because it's easy to forget the time while playing, and remove the helmet every time to see his watch is laborious.
- We need to change the steamvrsetting file manually to make chaperone invisible, so it's for all games. Can you do it only for Pinball FX2 VR?
That's all for the moment (I'll come bakc later if I've got ideas) !
Thanks again, you all rocks !
Thanks for the suggestions
You're welcome Barbie ! Please just notify the developers of the nudge bug, it's really punitive (3/4 of my lost balls, wouah !) It's really easy to see it, one nudge on four doesn't work.
Otherwise, I saw some mini-games appear in front of the table, on a 2D screen (for example the mini-playfield on Wild West Rampage). I understand the technical impossibility to make a 360° view on this mini-game, but you should consider the possibility of a 3D depth, like Orcanium on Epic Quest for example. If you're working on other VR tables (as I wish), it would be a shame to find 2D mini-games on a screen, such Asteroid Field on Han Solo, Tie flight on Starfighter Assault, Tie attack on Boba Fett, or race car on Aliens. So please consider this, thanks again guys !
a local top 10 list is a very great idea, i have search this feature useless by my first game in Pinball 2 VR (PS4)
I would love to see some funky replay options, like moving through the table is if you were inside the ball piloting it. It would have to be a slow-mo kind of thing, but it could be fun to watch a replay from the pov of the ball. Or other replay options that let us watch the replay from the vantage point of the animated characters on the table, or replay options that let us pick various replay points on the tables to watch the action from.
Wasn't sure where to post this, but it has me curios.
I really love the tables you have released. I love how frequently you release them as well. The bethesdada tables, and alien tables have all been fantastic.
One thing I don"t understand though is why do you use a monochrome DMD display? I am assuming you want it to look like real pinball? It is easier? Anyway I find it hard to read, like in the new Fallout table it is very hard to tell how many coins you have. I think an LCD or higher res display would be the next step!
Only other complaint I might have is that the tables never seem to get code updates where there are flaws. I assume one a table is done, you guys just move on.
Thank you for the great work and I will be a customer for a long time!
