ball lost retrieval or skip

hi guys,

i am playing a good score on the castle storm machine on my ps4 and then suddenly the ball is lost somewhere high up on the table. don't remember where exactly, but now the game is halted... i can't tilt it to get a new ball and I don't want to restart coz of such a potential high score... what's my possibillities?

If you can't tilt it out and the game doesn't launch a new ball you would need to start over, sorry.
