Default Infinite Minigolf Early Access Pricing Update

Hey everyone! We hope you are enjoying Infinite Minigolf. Thank you for your support as we have gone through this Early Access process, it has been quite a learning experience for us!

As we are nearing full release of the game, we wanted to have a discussion with the community regarding final pricing of the game. When we first launched in Early Access, we had envisioned a higher price point for the final game, but after much consideration, we feel that we need to leave the price of the game where it is now, at $14.99 USD.

There are a lot of factors that play into a pricing decision and sometimes it take a long time before you fully understand what your final price point should be.

If you have any thoughts or comments about the price of Infinite Minigolf we would love to hear from you, and will take all points into consideration.

In case you missed it, we did announce that HTC Vive and Oculus Rift support will be included in the game at launch!
We have a few more updates to make along the way, but we are just about at completion.

    Thanks,

    Mel Kirk

I think the price is fine myself. I bought the game on Steam in early access and I don’t mind much that I don’t get rewarded for backing the game early on. That -10% was nice but I would have bought it anyway. I like these kind of games.

That said, I’ve noticed throughout the years that many early access buyers on Steam are also people that review games and some of them might feel they’ve been cheated and their reviews will reflect this. Bad reviews early on can really hurt a small game in the long run.

So you might want to consider including a few exclusive in-game items (skins, avatars, whatever) only available to early access buyers. Just to prevent any bitter taste.

    Good luck with the launch!

Some exclusive Steam trading cards would do the trick.
