Default (Request) Being able to move the ball around at will?

I must say, I'm really loving Pinball FX3. I just have a minor complaint: I'm really not good at pinball... So, I have a request for this game; do you guys think you can maybe put in the ability to move the ball around at will? I could describe how it works. You really want to be able to get to a table's wizard mode, you want to be able to see all the modes in the game, or, you're just really bad at pinball, you wish you could rack up the points and never lose your first ball? Well, with the ability to move the ball around at will, you just use the right analog stick to do just that! Here's the catch: with this feature on, you won't be able to post scores to the leaderboards. What do you guys think?

PFX3 already has this feature... sort of. It's called 'Practice Mode' which gives you unlimited balls for 1 hour.

Choose a table, choose 'Single Player & Hotseat', then choose 'Practice'. You can't manually move the ball like you said, but you get 1hr of unlimited play.

pinball just doesnt give you this ability. There is no God mode. Its a physics game based on a ball and flippers. You can get good with practice. You just have to keep trying and put in the time. You do get those magic wizard modes that I mostly hate cause they have no basis in real pinball, they are just some made up zen shit. If they put in a move ball anywhere mode I will quit and never play again cause pinball should be fn pinball. Sure I milk the shit out of that triangle button for doubling score, cause everyone else does too, but if it wasnt there I would still be kicking your asses. I want it to be normal pinball.
pssssst..........over here..........*In muffled voice* The secret, random word is water. Don't tell anyone.

I was so very excited when I saw that my XP level had gone up to level 41 and then so very upset when Mc Lovin informed me that It looked like a glitch, but, hey guess what, I'm level 41 and the rest of you are only level 40 or less so suck it bitches.

I'm with ya except for this part. Of course real pinballs have wizard modes. Not all but there are plenty current sterns and old bally/williams that do... just to name 2 (3??) mfg's. I used to own Johnny Mnemonic. That had a wizard mode. I own a Twilight Zone. That has a wizard mode (LITZ - Lost In The Zone). Most current sterns have wizard modes. I don't know them off the top of my head as I don't own them. The problem with current pinballs is that they're sold without 100% code. The code comes ages, sometimes years later and it's usually the wizard modes that are missing until the code is finished.

You know, actually, this is enabled for the developer version of the game.

Our QA testers use this feature all the time to test out the modes and etc.

Although I think this will not get into the game ever, it just takes out the fun.

I would like to know how a mechanical device has a fn rewind mode. How does it go backward in time and produce an exact version of what occured seconds ago? Please enlighten me.

He is talking about actual wizard mode. As in when you complete all story missions usually. Not the wizard powers zen added into FX3

Indeed, and I knew that. We were kind of talking about two different things I guess. Im old dude and have played many tables that had wizard mode. Not exactly the same thing though.

Hang on you said God mode, then talked about wizard modes as in the last mode in the game you're trying to get to, so NO, I don't think we were talking about 2 different things.

I merely called the ability to move the ball anywhere you wanted as God mode and my reference to wizard mode was meant to be the zen wizard powers and not specifically a wizard mode.

My bad. I only play Classic mode and refuse to use those powers, so forgot they were also called 'wizard'.

So I take it all back and I'm 100% with you on your first comment

There is some skill in hitting that multiplyer point button thingy at the precise moment to maximise the amount of bonus it gives you.
