No, I'm in marketing. This would be one heck of a marketing gimmick for a Halloween Pack. I will actually be disapointed with Zen's marketing department if they didn't do this. It's a no brainer to me.

Zen confirmed the price as $9.99 and gave the following reason for the two pack - "These are licensed by Universal and cannot be combined with other IP-s. So that's why they are a 2 pack".

It has also been known for quite a while that there were two achievement placeholders added to Steam for FX3. In the past it has always been quite a reliable indicator that new tables are on their way and how many especially once they started only giving one achievement per table.

These two excellent tables are totally worth $10. Probably still the best table pack yet even without a third "meh" table included like all of the other DLC packs so far... or the last set of tables, which were all meh.

You absolute madmen went and gave us the two most popular tables! Respect. My hat goes off to you, sirs.

I wonder if the pricing has changed for mobile. I keep reinstalling and deleting the app hoping for a reasonable pricing model. I’m not paying $20 per table for a “level 2” table without better physics, the ability to play offline or save the game. I asked during one of their twitch streams if pricing would ever reach parity with other platforms and if they would stop ripping off mobile users and they responded by saying they are constantly experimenting with different pricing models. Still haven’t seen a pricing model that doesn’t price gouge iOS users. And why are we still waiting on controller support on mobile? Hard pass.

Once again we are offered a new batch of tables for us to play with while the leaderboards continue to have, within increasing numbers daily new computer users posting bogus scores. I want it fixed. We have been complaining for a VERY LONG time and the boards continue to be flooded with bogus scores. Remove them and ban the suspect IP's. Simple as that. I will not just give up on the game I love and watch it be destroyed by a handful of douche bags. I will post several examples as I have MANY, MANY times, but be assured that almost every board has easily identified examples. I mean, they mostly all end in zeroes but some of the smart ones are figuring out how to make it less obvious, but seriously, this is likely due in no small part to the fact that Zen has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to curtail the activity. This will not be my final word until something is done.

Zen, can we please get something done about this? I can assure you that the majority of the loyal player base are sick of these cheats, it's seriously tarnishing the game. Also, when will you wipe the horrible fake scores built using the now fixed infinite bumper glitch that run into the trillions on Aliens vs. Predator?

And also ban any players under the CODEX name, which is basically an illegal cracked version of the game.
Or at least remove any scores under that name.

They don't deserve a place on any scoreboard, amongst other players who did pay for their games.

I agree on the pricing. I'm very happy not to pay more but have always thought that Zen's tables are super cheap for what you get.

I do feel different though about the meh tables. I absolutely loved the Vol 4 pack, each of the tables gave me a proper challenge and both the Vacation Jackpot and Big Payday took a lot of fun and enjoyable effort to get right in Classic Arcade. Even Hurricane was a blast once I got into the flow of it. I've played Junk Yard (the presumably Meh table for Vol 1) which was fun and am busy with The Pary Zone, which present a really in interesting challenge with it's relatively simplistic layout and ruleset. I keep on thinking I have my strategy down for it, and then I discover something else or a different combination of things to try. Admittedly, it is not going to keep me as busy as say Medieval Madness, but I still really enjoyed it.

Safe Cracker is the one I haven't played yet and I do feel a bit meh about it... but that is also what I felt before Hurricane, Junk Yard, and The Party Zone so hopefully it will also pleasantly surprise me.

While we're complaining about things could you fix Pinscape plunger support via 360 controller emulators on a PC? Cabinet owners have been asking for this for well over a year now.

Windows sees them properly. The controller emulator (in most cases x360ce) sees them properly. But in FX3 you apparently apply a deadzone that doesn't allow one for one physical/virtual plunger movement.

It may be easy for me to say this as I already have a code but I'd gladly pay a small fee for a cabinet code if it meant you guys would take cabinet mode more seriously.

    @Cloda

Funny thing is I went back and played Vol 4 the other night after posting that comment and actually enjoyed them. Never played any of those machines in real life and never cared for Farsight's version of White Water, so I wasn't really drawn to them... but they're not bad after all! Going to try to get good at them while waiting for Vol 5.

@Adm56, you mention that you already have a code for this. Can you please provide more information on your workaround, or provide a link to such a workaround? (I bought the raw parts for a Pinscape plunger (including the KL25Z controller board) awhile back, and will be incorporating it into the cabinet I will be finally building soon. But I was unaware of a deadzone issue with FX3 till I just read your post.)

    Thanks.

I meant that I already have a cabinet code.

As far as a work around I don't believe there is one. Ultimately FX3 chews up the input by applying a deadzone to Xbox controller emulation that works perfectly fine outside of the game. Someone even mentioned that they confirmed that an actual Xbox controller works EXACTLY the same way but no one cares because it's not as noticeable on a controller.

So any tweaks done to the axis elsewhere will just result in FX3 cutting the legs out of it again. I supposed you could physically alter your plunger so it's rest position is right at the end of their dead zone but that's ridiculous.

Zen could probably patch this in a day but apparently it's not a priority. As I mentioned I'd gladly pay say a $5-10 fee for a cabinet code if it meant they'd apply developer time to cabinet mode issues. Right now it's 'fine'...it's not difficult to align multiple monitors, I don't mind installing my own backglass art, camera mode 2 while not ideal is good enough for me, and while I'd love to have in game nudge sensitivity controls I've managed to get Pinscape nudge where I want it. But not being able to use my plunger pisses me off every time I attempt what would otherwise be one of their clever and fun skill shots.

I tried creating a new thread in this forum to discuss but almost 24 hours later a mod has not approved it.

Please tell me with this this release, the rewind power for Road Show will be fixed on Nintendo Switch... 5 months and this annoying bug is still present, every time you rewind the camera angle is bugged...

Oh, okay. You were referring to the cabinet unlock code provided to you by Zen Studios. I misunderstood and thought you had some found some outside software coding/program, or perhaps a setting that worked for you in x360ce, to resolve the problem.

P.S. For anyone who hasn't seen it before, I found this active thread in Steam Community where there's discussion about the problem: "Pinscape analogue plunger and FX3" at https://steamcommunity.com/app/44212...6190277232638/ .

Ah, ok. I will follow that thread, plus the new Steam thread I see you as Yamfinger started today of "Fix virtual plungers Zen!" at https://steamcommunity.com/app/44212...0247633197652/ . Also, eventually the Moderators should be approving your thread here in the Zen forum, which may have been delayed because of your newness. All of that will be useful to me when I finally install/setup my Pinscape plunger and use it with FX3 and run into this
