Why are we capped at level 40?

First off I realize some are level 41. I had a defective HD that reset me twice and have been level 41 twice having first received it at around 400 thousand xp then the second time at around 340 thousand. Now Im back with a new HD and started again with a save that started me back at around 300 thousand, well, now Im in excess of 500 thousand xp and still no level 41, so a glitch as I was previously told, but seriously, why cap it at 40? Why not just let us have a level based on our xp?

I am currently sitting with 670, 000 xp and that is after crashing my previous hd twice and had no uploaded save data so started over from zero twice, but last time learned my lesson and backed up my xp to cloud storage so when my system crashed the second time and I put in a new hd I only had to start over from 360,000. So, basically I have exceeded 400,000 twice and now have 670,000 which means had my hd never crashed I would currently be sitting on 1,470,000 xp roughly. My point is dont make it easy where every 10,000 is another point. Make it super hard like every 200,000 xp is another level or even higher than that otherwise you guys are going to dink around with this and by the time you put it out everyone will be maxed at level 100 or some other arbitrary number.

According to hajdu this is something that will be remodeled in the near future. Im just kind of wondering..................sort of a pole if you will. How many of you are over a million xp?

Not quite,with 50,000 on the clock..but the fact that you've been building up XP,has got me interested in focusing on doing this myself..

I'm on Xbox,which is a shame, otherwise we would have been good to go..
I've got 58 of the 70 tables,and not really got around to doing all the challenges etc..so there's a lot to be getting on with.
Didn't help jumping into "matchup",and spending more time in there,than I should of...

we have multiple options in our hands to evolve the leveling system and we have to test them out first which will be the best fit for the everyday usage.
I can't tell you an exact date of the release because it's uncertain right now. We are working on it though so it's going to be reality!

Don't mind me hajdu I can be a drama queen at times. Didn't see you mention previously that it would not be included in the last patch and now that that patch has been released, it's apparent it was not included.

I don't really see the complication. Now, obviously we don't want those who have been playing to lose what they already have so up to level 40 keep it as it is. Can't remember exactly when I received level 40, but somewhere around 300 thousand xp or so, but after that make it challenging. I think every million points you go up a level then take into consideration that a good 10 percent or thereabouts are afflicted with the level 41 glitch. You want to find out what is causing the glitch and account for it in the patch.

I know I've been forefront in pushing the idea of remodeling the level cap, but to be honest I would much rather see some kind of way of distinguishing those who have been able to achieve that which I consider greater than anything else, and that is in getting the highest score on a table. It would be awesome if somehow others could immediately see that you have a number one score or more in some way. Like looking at a fighter pilots plane and seeing all the stars as being kills. There is a lot of room on the thing below for adding something that would say, hay, this guy has a number one score.

I've been lobbying for this cap removal for a long time and have in excess of 18 million xp which I intentionally ran up just for this one reason so I have no desire to see it remain at level 40 or in my case and many others level 41. They could however in addition to making the changes to the cap which would still be based solely on xp add a number directly below the xp beside the little icon they award you for tournament participation which would denote how many #1 scores one has.

He is a nice guy and had a not so easy job dealing with fans who always see ways of making the game better...............you, know, in their opinion not understanding all that is involved in making a game and the considerations that take place with licensing issues and such. I have a ps4 and although I have posted a few bugs they seem so isolated after more than a hundred games that I'm not personally caring if they ever fix them or that other systems are experiencing issues as precedence. Of course I care, but, I'm interested in fixing things on my system that relate to me and other ps4 users that have posted similar posts, but even if issues exist, if I dont happen to experience it, why should I think its more important than the issues I want to see resolved, the issues I currently experience? Dude, feel free to post your issues. I will be nothing but supportive. I only responded to your thread, albeit in a seemingly childish way, I guess, by seeing the hypocritical way your post was focused on some new issue not related to pursuing issues related to first and foremost taking care of all the bugs because you did precisely the same, and yet, because of doing so, I am the forum bully. It's not fair that I am trying to fix an issue that others also share and I try to do so lately after being contacted by a mod that I'm apparently mean, because I respond the way I actually think, and since tried to be kind and others call me names while all I did was repost your own comments.
