    Default Censorship and stuff

I’m posting this here because the thread on the Steam forums is a bit of a mess and questions get drowned by the high rate of posts.

My question is a simple one (and the answer may prompt me to ask a few more questions): DLCs can have a different rating than the core game. Why wasn’t Volume 1 released with a higher ESRB rating to avoid the need to censor artwork, sound, etc?

We’ll start with this question for now.

If Zen is forbidden to disclose the reason because it is not their decision to make, a simple “no comment” reply will suffice.
