    Talking Fantastic Four

We've just announced the Fantastic Four table via Marvel.com. You can view screenshots and trailer here:

    http://marvel.com/news/story/15748/d...tic_four_table

Featuring Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Thing and the Human Torch, the Fantastic Four table features loads of interactive 3D models, online multiplayer competition and multiple layers of Super Hero gameplay. Guide the ball up the Torch Ramp, discover a set of Invisible Flippers, and feel the full crushing force of the Thing as you take down Doctor Doom just in time to face mighty Galactus and save Earth from obliteration.

Just a small (but interesting) quote from the article.

The table looks great, and it's a first day buy for me, but I'm confused.
The poll said "we" are choosing the next Marvel hero for a table by the outcome of the poll. By the poll FF was in last place. I understand if they want to release Captain America closer to the movie release date, but releasing the table in last place first?
I'm not complaining, so please no flaming/bashing. I just don't understand what the poll was for since the loser is the winner?

Just a question. I have Marvel Pinball for the PS3. And I have Pinball Fx 2 without the Marvel set. Would I be able to get Fantastic Four on XBLA without having the other Marvel set? I rather play the pinball games with the xbox controller.

It sounds like you'll be able to buy the single table "Fantastic Four" on XBLA, without needing to have purchased the Marvel pack. It'll just appear as a table amongst all the other Pinball FX 2 tables.

    Price guess: 240 spacebux.

    Smile wise move FF

I totally predicted this, save the more popular ones so that the maximum amount of feedback can make these future releases absolutely amazing to the most players possible. Hopefully, even the somewhat disappointed fans will come around and enjoy all the releases.

I can imagine a great look to the Captain America table. That huge round shield with the American flag right in the middle. But Fantastic four is a good build up to the better ones to come.

I agree with this, I could have sworn the last time I checked the vote, FF was dead last. Why waste time with a vote if your not going to pick the table people wanted??? FF was the worst choice on the list and the last table I was hoping they would make, so not surprised it got "picked".

I really think F4 could be one of the best tables Zen have ever made.

Agreed. I was very confused myself, FF got creamed in the polls (proving again no one has cares about FF), Cap and Ghost Rider were neck and neck. Why would we release the table people least want to see? Maybe all 4 tables were going to be made all along, which is good... but not so good if the poll was just a marketing tool, I do not appreciate that at all. I understand holding cap for the movie, but I'm of the old school where if you say you're going to do something you should do it.

PS: H.E.R.B.I.E.? My first thought was "are you freakin' kidding me?", but now that I think about it it makes sense. I'm an avid comics collector, and hate FF with a passion, so I see some poetic justice in putting with worst mistakes in FF and cartoon history in there. I hope he fights human torch.

Angry Beer money or zen tables

There is nothing like finally having the extra cash for games and not being able to get them. Also noteworthy, it is the first time ever since 2006 that i left extra cash in the PSN store figuring I will grab the zen tables without going through the add funds scenario.

Default Vote for the next table.

Zen team, can we get an answer as to why the loser in the poll was the first of the new tables to be released? I'm kinda curious to hear the story behind that.

I think the basic situation with the poll was that we'd gone too long without new content and people were unhappy. So the decision was made to put out Fantastic Four, since it was ready, and then Mars got approved for an earlier release and came out before F4.

From what I understand, the winner of the poll is coming out next.

Probably by the end of the week. Sony stated in their blog, that the Welcome Back program will launch a few days after the PS Store is back online.

I hardly believe so. Sony didn't make any statement. Still I believe that once the PSN will be back up it will have plenty of content. Well, hopefully at least Zen 2 tables should be there, being small and cheap.

That's what Sony's been telling the developers and partners. They even sent them an outline on the dates, that they will update the store (four updates in the first week).

I am happy to report that Fantastic Four is now available for download from the PS Store. We are hearing reports that some regions still cannot access the content (mostly in Europe). We will continue to keep you posted.

Looking forward to thoughts and feedback.

I've bought Fantastic Four but it's greyed out in the game and won't let me play it. What's the problem with it?

I already bought it and I really like the table.

The game's music plays a major role for me and I really like when the tracks alternate when playing the missions. However, most of the music tracks in Fantastic Four sound very similar to each other. It's not like the other MP tables, where you can clearly tell the difference between each track.
