I find it ironic that Mel Kirk threw Farsight under the bus in an Ars Technica article for things that Zen are promoting and making money off of in their own app. I have seen ads for gambling apps like slots, bingo, and black jack. I have seen ads for apps with half naked women. I also saw one ad for what I can only describe as the video equivalent of a 1-900 phone sex line. If Zen is so worried about their ESRB rating, how exactly are they comfortable running these types of ads on their platform?

with Google's add service you can block certain types of advertisements. And they can also choose another advertisement platform.

Zen only censored the tables to remain in compliance for the ESRB. I would assume they love the original tables as much as any of us. The ads are not governed by the same rules. They also, likely have no control over the ads.
