Yesterday when i started my cabinet steam was in landscape and when i looked in the cabinet icon my code was gone and when i entered it again it did not work?

Yesterday when i started my cabinet steam was in landscape and when i looked in the cabinet icon my code was gone and when i entered it again it did not work?
what happened?
If you switch out of cabinet mode then you have to reenter the code you were given before to get back to cabinet mode
