New to Zen Pinball 2

Hey guys. I just downloaded Zen Pinball 2 for my PS3, but only have a limited amount of funds to spend on tables ($20). Any suggestions on the good tables to start with? I might just have to go with my gut. From looking on the net, everybody's opinion is different on what the best tables are. Thanks guys.

I'd go with your gut, but try to split things up 50% Original (Classics pack or 4 individual tables) and 50% Marvel. Opinions vary so widely on most tables that you'll always have something to look forward to in the future.

Parathod makes a great suggestion there. Play the heck out of the demos to get a feel for which ones are the most fun and appealing to you.

I'm also starting with a small group of tables. I got the Marvel Original Pack free from PS+ and I bought 5 Zen tables (Epic Quest, Sorcerer's Lair, Plants vs Zombies, Paranormal, and Mars). That balance worked well for me. I like both the Marvel and Zen tables, so I plan to alternate between them while getting the other packs that interest me. The plan is to spread it out so there's always something to look forward to.

Welcome to the forums.

I recommend downloading all of the table demos/trials and sample each one out, then decide from there.

El Dorado
Spiderman
Wolverine
Moon Knight
Street Fighter II
Sorcerer's Lair
Infinity Gauntlet
Plants vs Zombies

Those tables have more "playability", which is key for someone new IMHO of course...

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I went ahead and downloaded the original Marvel pack that had the spider man table and then got a couple of the zen tables (sorcerer's lair & plants vs zombies). These tables are pretty fun, I might just have to pony up and just get the whole lot. Thanks again guys.
