Default A new version is available on Pinball FX3 (1.0.24.2)

    Hey Pinball Lovers!

Throughout the weeks, we browsed the forums and our support mailbox to find the bugs that occurred after the arrival of the new Williams Pack. Now, we have welcome news to share with you, as a new version is available for Pinball FX3 on Steam, with bugfixes and performance improvements! Thank you very much for helping us make our game even better!

    Here are the details 👇

    - Fixed the bumper sound bug on Medieval Madness™ and Theatre of Magic™

    - Recalibrated the size of the alphanumeric display on FunHouse™, Space Station™, and Dr. Dude and His Excellent Ray™

-Made changes in the cabinet settings which should improve the performance in cabinet mode

If you still experience the FPS drop after installing the latest version (1.0.24.2.) try to restart the game. It should implement all the changes.

-Dr Dude, lows fps dmd not working, if i launch it at first there is no dmd, if i launch it after one of the above table, the dmd still fixed with the last score there was on the table.

I'm running a mid/high end card on mine so I can't really comment on FPS with DMD enabled on lower end hardware. All tables run above 110 FPS @ 1440P which is good, but I seem to recall them running @ 240 FPS.

As of a few days ago, the bumper sound bugs seemed to have been resolved, but MM had a flipper (flubber) rubber bug. Just ran MM this morning and I'm happy to report that the MM flipper bug appears to have been resolved.

Please pass along my thanks to the bug squashers working behind the scenes to resolve these issues.

Yeah I found a couple of new bugs concerning ARCADE MODE (cabinet PC) and created a new post for it.

Awesome to hear these problems are getting fixed! Any word on when the fixes will reach the Switch version?

Also, did the devs ever get to look at the weird Funhouse "jackpot music glitch" I reported in a different thread?

We got reports since the last update that there is a bug with the repositioned alphanumeric display in cabinet mode on the Dr. Dude table. We are glad to say, that this problem has been fixed, the display should show the proper scores from now.

    Have a nice time playing!

    Default Fixed

In regards to my bug report, it has been patched. It must have been a quick patch fix recently. The last time I've checked was only a few days ago.

Thank you Zen Studios for this quick patch fix. The bumper sound is much better. I've noticed a bit muddy sound but that's ok. I trust it will be refined in the future. As for the bumper bug, all good and working fine. A slight drop in performance noted but once again, its playable.

Cheers and keep up with good work

Thumbs down Bug Patches Not Applied to XBOX

I have XBOX 1X and the latest bug patch has not been applied to it. I have done a hard shut down and restart with no success. Additional bugs include the multipliers in Back to the Future not adding up properly in classic and regular modes. For example: I might have 37 million at the end of ball one with over 19 million in bonus, BUT, only 2 million is added to my score. Really annoying.

One of my biggest problems is a lag in flipper response.

Zen has denied this before when I brought it to their attention but I noticed some other players noting it on the Forum. Several tables have this lag. To name just a few; Moon Knight, Ach Island and left flipper in Arabian Nights....all in classic mode.

The Windows 10 version in the Microsoft Store has not been updated. It says version 1.0.20.0.35200P and the bumper sound bug is still there.

Just for the reference, I am playing cabinet mode (Arcade Mode) on a PC (Steam). Not sure about other platforms or Win 10 versions? I cant remember what Win 10 version I currently have? I hope it is safe to update?

I will keep you inform if there is anything wrong. So far everything is working fine on my machine. I can see performance improvements as well. Sure you can see occasional stutter probably due to win 10 working in the background or whatever that might be? No lag issue either.
