I'll agree that BYM could work better - it's an a weird halfway position between a flimsy tool that requires no work on the part of the user and a powerful tool that requires lots of work by the user. Some people are upset that it doesn't do everything automatically, and some people are upset that it doesn't give them power to tweak every detail of the script. The former is impossible because it results in crappy tracks, and the latter is unlikely because the costs of making the tool and adding Workshop support are significant, and KickBeat isn't exactly neck-and-neck with DayZ on the sales charts.
Also, don't forget that I don't work at Zen, so don't treat my responses as official customer service or anything.
