i have the same problem with my HTC one X

Has the same issue on my Nexus 5, 4.4.2, stock, rooted. I have no hack apps like freedom or game killer or so,so I dunno what's the source of this problem. The thing is that I could play the game for once but now I have the same troubles as OP

Game played great (2) days ago but now crashes at start up..... has anyone heard anything on this yet ?

Same to me, since today, but I think that is a NETWORKBUG, because if i turn on airplane mode, the game launches perfect without crashes. Btw, I didnt noticed ads, maybe is an error loading them and then crashes?

Edited: Confirmed, in airplane mode it works great, without airplane mode it crashes

maybe there is a bug that affects the game using data, but it works fine with wifi

The game works fine offline but the problem is that app crashes regardless of connection type (Wi-fi,LTE,3G) I use atm.

Starts fine in airplane mode, and ingame You can turn internet on and its ok.
