Default [RFE] Make all Slingshots behave like Star Wars: A New Hope

I was gobsmacked and delighted to find that someone at Zen put the correct coil into the slingshots on this table!

Out of all the tables in the Zen Pinball HD collection, this table has the most realistic slingshot behavior. Fast and unpredictable. It has become my favourite table because of this fact.

I wish all tables could be updated with this strength tuning so all slingshots behaved a bit "wild". I would also love to see the pop bumpers upgraded like this as well.

Would Zen consider making this tuning adjustment across the older tables, Barbie?

I doubt it strongly that they will "retrofit" stronger coils in previous releases. I for one also love these stronger slingshots and wouldn't mind if some more tables in the future also follow suite. That is the advantage of multi-table packs being released by Zen because that allows them to make some risky choices on some of the tables, whilst keeping the majority of the players that won't like it happy with some more "standard" tables in-between. Even though I love the table, there is though one let-down for me, and that is how easy it is to activate the Yavin multi-ball and how that has become such a big scoring opportunity with this table. If only Zen can sort that out when they make a difficult table as they always seem to give the high score chasers a way out that completely negates the difficulty factor of the table.

These more powerful slingshots were my idea for getting closer to real life pinball with our tables. I will continue to use them on my future tables, and try to persuade the other designers to do so However the previous tables cannot be "upgraded" this way, because the side parts of the layouts were designed for the lazy slingshots so the change could end up in tons of lost balls.

Many thanks for taking the plunge with this enhanced game play element, deep.

Those of us coming from TPA often cite the sling strength as a downside of the franchise.

Such a shame this can't be retrofitted to older tables. I understand that the collision meshes would all need to be adjusted, and this is not a trivial task.
